John Adams
CEO
John Adams | CEO
John is an experienced senior executive with a proven track record of building, scaling, and transforming businesses across industrial services, cybersecurity, healthcare, distribution, and manufacturing. He most recently served as CEO of Altus Fire & Life Safety, where he built and grew the platform and successfully led its sale from AE Industrial Partners to Apax Partners. Previously, he was CEO of Mission Secure, an OT cybersecurity firm, where he repositioned the company, built a direct and channel sales organization, and drove significant recurring revenue growth. Earlier, John served as Chairman and CEO of Waratek, leading its turnaround to a successful exit, and co-founded SecurAmerica, which he expanded from startup to a major industry leader before its eventual sale to Allied Universal. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Florida Southern College and an MBA in Health Services Management from Webster University, and has served on the boards of the YMCA, United Way, and BENS.
Priya Kuganendran

Priya Kuganendran | CFO
Priya is an accomplished finance executive with more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience across financial reporting, treasury, investor relations, audit, M&A integration, and IT strategy. She joined Fire Service and Protection in 2023 as Chief Financial Officer, where she leads all financial operations, including strategic planning, treasury management, ERP and digital field tool implementation, and oversees a multidisciplinary team across finance, IT, and supply chain. Previously, she served as Vice President of Finance & Treasury at Artera Services, where she built the treasury function, negotiated financing facilities with major institutions, co-led investor relations, optimized working capital, and supported numerous acquisitions and integrations. Earlier roles at Artera included Director of Internal Audit & Process Improvement, where she implemented SOX compliance, developed a risk-based audit program, and helped design companywide IT strategy. Priya earned her Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in Accounting and Information Systems from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.

Hemal Mehta | CIO
Hemal is a skilled technology leader with more than 25 years of experience driving enterprise transformation across services, distribution, manufacturing, and retail businesses. He joined DwyerOmega in 2023 as Head of Commercial Technology, where he leads global B2B commercial platforms, integrates multiple organizations, and deploys CRM, ERP, WMS, and eCommerce systems to enhance conversion and customer engagement. Previously, he served as CIO and Vice President of Technology at Recteq, where he implemented customer-facing applications, automated financial processes, improved warehouse efficiency, and advanced the maturity of the technology organization. Earlier in his career, Hemal was CIO and Vice President of IT at Tegra Global, where he centralized ERP and WMS systems across several acquisitions, streamlined supplier integration, and led technology operations across North and Central America. He holds an MBA in Finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and a BS in Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Peter Morgan | SVP of M&A
Pete is a talented M&A leader with more than a decade of experience advising and executing complex transactions across the business services sector. Since joining Harris Williams in 2016, he has led numerous sell-side and buy-side advisory engagements totaling billions in closed transaction value. He is recognized for architecting tailored execution strategies that align client goals, market intelligence, and deal dynamics to maximize valuation and certainty of close. Earlier in his career, Pete served as a Senior Consultant and Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led programs for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including implementation of the Wireless Emergency Alerts system, and began his professional journey teaching math and science while coaching multiple athletic teams at an independent school in Virginia. He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a BA in Physics from the University of Virginia.
Joe Carrico

Joe Carrico | VP of HR
Joe is an accomplished human resources executive with more than 25 years of experience leading people, culture, and safety initiatives across manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and technology-driven service organizations. He joined EnviroSpark Energy in 2023 as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Safety, where he built the HR and Safety function for a private equity–backed EV infrastructure platform. Previously, he held HR leadership roles at Crider Foods, Baldor Specialty Foods, Forward Air, and Newell Recycling, where he developed leadership programs, redesigned compensation structures, reduced turnover, and scaled HR operations across multiple locations and countries. Joe holds a Master of Science in Human Resources with a minor in Psychology from Universidad de Sao Marcos, has completed executive programs at Harvard and Cornell, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
